Hi All,
This one arrived in the mail this morning:-
Stacked leather washer handle with some coloured hard rubber and brass for decoration.
Plain carbon steel to an old design. Blade is 3/16" (0.190") thick and 4 3/4" (4.790") long from guard to tip.
With a bit of simple file work to the spine.
I have been looking for a similar knife for several years now to replace the old Wade & Butcher "Boone" that was stolen. The sheaf that came with it is a simple imitation leather one so a new one made of decent leather for the knife will be made by a local chap at the local archery club.
Since the photo was taken I have just taken the very tip of the clip point off so it's less likely to catch the rumen etc when gralloching deer. Best bit is this knife only cost £25 ($40 US) so if I happen to lose it it's not a major event.
