about to take a leap

 well i am going to look at a house tommorrow  its a good ol farm house that my great grand mothers sister owned. now its up forsale 100,000 under assesment. so who knows maybe i will be moving down the road.  now i just need to convince the wife that its a good idea.

Are you convinced it's a good deal?

Run the numbers.

Do all the costs.  Projected maintenance, taxes, and your added/lessened transtportation costs.

Is it what you both want?  Old houses are a never-ending project!  (Ours was built cira 1912.)

Can you afford to divert your resources (time and money)?

You need to come up with the questions and answers - it's your puppy!

Does it have a nice big workshop that is truck accessible ..... should the need to bring in 9-foot cannon barrels presents itself?

Keep in mind that a proper cannon lathe will have a bed length of about 200 feet.
