about to take a leap

 well i am going to look at a house tommorrow  its a good ol farm house that my great grand mothers sister owned. now its up forsale 100,000 under assesment. so who knows maybe i will be moving down the road.  now i just need to convince the wife that its a good idea.

Are you convinced it's a good deal?

Run the numbers.

Do all the costs.  Projected maintenance, taxes, and your added/lessened transtportation costs.

Is it what you both want?  Old houses are a never-ending project!  (Ours was built cira 1912.)

Can you afford to divert your resources (time and money)?

You need to come up with the questions and answers - it's your puppy!

Does it have a nice big workshop that is truck accessible ..... should the need to bring in 9-foot cannon barrels presents itself?

Keep in mind that a proper cannon lathe will have a bed length of about 200 feet.

I assume you really mean 200 inches unless you plan to be making barrels for the Missouri.

 lol     all i ever think i will need is 140 inch lathe.  any bigger then that and its over kill.       lol just remember its just money, you cant take it with you.   and every one dies but not everyone lives.       but cannons sure are fun.
