shaleetoo aka Lee Kettner
« on: March 02, 2011, 02:51:34 PM »

Over the years many of you did business with my husband, shaleetoo, Lee Kettner.  He was an avid poster on Greybeard.  He suffered for one and a half years from cancer.  I held his hand as he passed on to heaven on October 31, 2010.  He thought the Greybeard website was one of the best things to happen to the internet and to all sportsmen.  He did his own reloads, he made a lot of wild cat guns, varying barrels, loads, etc.  When he discovered Thompson Encore, it was a match made in heaven!  He had barrels made by Dave Van Horn that were very unique and he made his loads just as unique.  He was a hunter, fisher, trapper and the best husband anyone could ever wish for.  I will spread his ashes in the Wolf River in Wisconsin as it was where he spent a lot of time; most of it fishing, and a great deal of it avoiding the game wardens.  I can't let his absence erase his presence in my life.

Your loving wife,
Sharon
Lee Kettner lost his battle with cancer on October 31, 2010. RIP Lee.

Sharon

Sorry to hear of your loss , it may be of some comfort to know that he is in a better place , free of pain , my mother lingered for over a year with cancer and when she passed we all knew that HER pain was no longer with her and ours would soon be lessened too .  :'(
