Sold my plastic 9mm and bought..
« on: April 17, 2011, 12:16:59 AM »
...a used 5 1/2" Single -Six.  Am I ever glad I did.  That Single-Six must be the most accurate handgun I've ever owned (and I've owned more than a few).  It's almost like the bullets are guided into the bull. The .22lr cylinder is just as accurate as the magnum, and they shoot practically to the same point of aim.
The single action revolvers carry and handle better than semi-autos and they just seem to have more 'soul'.
Thank you previous owner, thank you Bill Ruger, and thank you craftsmen at the Ruger factory.

Well said. You can't go wrong with a Ruger.

Glad you got a shooter!!
I have owned three or four and never found a accurate convertible. I do have a accurate 22LR. I have used it in a couple fun bullseye matches!!  Not so great in rapid fire, but not as bad as you might first expect!
