year of shotgun question

i bought a h and r shotgun at pawn shop today that has three letters in serial it is  cac007***   i looked in facts and it say year for first and second letter i am not sure about year of this one,this one says harrington and richards on side instead of new england firearms ,i want to know if this can handle a rifle barrel

Serial number prefixes changed in 2008, CAC is an SB1 receiver.  Someone can correct me if I am wrong but the only rifle barrels you can put on are a .357 or .44mag barrel.
My biggest fear in life is dying and my wife selling my guns for what I told her I paid for them.

All the info you need is on the year of mfr list in the FAQs, 357 and 44 mag are the only rifle barrels they'll fit to it. They quit marking them NEF about 2007 except for the imported shotguns, they only make H&R now.
