Just wondered how many might know this. Who was known as "Super Foot" and why? A hint...he was in a couple movies with Chuck Norris.

Bill Wallace. He was known as super foot becuase he had the fastest kick with a knock out.
Mr. Wallace is a great guy and sportsman. He would spar with you at your level and occaisionally he would let you see why he was called super foot.
I think he was actually better than Chuck Norris but that is just an opinion. To bad Ed Parker's Long Beach Invitational isn't still around. That in my opinion was the greatest tournement and exhibition.

Superfoot  was a tragically afflicted elephantiasis victim who left the freak show circuit to become  a renowned karate "trick" specialist. He was in several films, always portrayed as a villain. A side effect of the disease endeared him to film producers: His right foot was size 10.5D and his left foot was size 56ZZZ.

In films he was often shown kicking over speeding cars, buses and taxiing airplanes (including once a giant C5A transport aircraft). The kick of his left foot was also portrayed as instant death to the various ninjas and commandos sent to upset the operations the villainous character he played.

Superfoot later became well known as a bare-footin' water ski stunt performer, and he continues to perform at Wisconsin Dells during summer and at various venues in Florida during the winter.

The late 60s and early 70's Ed Parker the father of American Kenpo held tournaments in Long Beach. Right after Mr. Norris became the national champion, he went to the Long Beach invitational. Mr. Parker gave him a pass to only compete for the championship of the tournamnet. Several of the competitors asked Mr. Parker if Mr. Norris would be allowed to compete with everyone else. After a few minutes discussion Mr. Parker and Mr. Norris agreed he should compete just as any other fighter would. Mr. Norris still won, but it gave everyone a chance to get into the ring with him.
Oh, and Mr. Wallace had been to a few of these also.
Sportsmanship and personal honor, wow these things are almost gone today.
