Reloading .375 JDJ
« on: December 26, 2003, 05:30:03 PM »
Well I finally got around to playing with a SSK .375 JDJ barrel that I have been wanting to work with for quite some time.  I was wondering what loads everyone is shooting?

I know about the classic load of 52 grains of AA2520 under the 270gr. Hornady, but I was wondering what else folks were using.  With the release of the new .375 260gr Accubond and more modern powders like Reloader 15 and Varget I was thinking that a new level of performance might be reached with this cartridge.

I have heard reports that some folks find the 270gr. Hornady to be too hard for the JDJ.  Thoughts?  Anyone care to share any load data with Varget or Reloader 15.

Thanks for looking and for sharing!  :D
