Scope

I have a Benj/Sheridan GS397, that I would like to put a scope on. Since it is Co2 I don't need to worry about pumping, so it won't be in the way. I tried a small scope I have but it isn't long enough. Any suggestions? Thanks, Buddy

Buddy,
Give us some more details as to what you are looking for? Do want alot of magnification that will focus at close range which is what alot of target shooters want? Price range? Give me some details and I might be able to help.

Thanks for the help. This is a CO2 Benjamin, when I mounted the scope as far back on the rifle it still requires I almost put my chin on the top of the stock and move my head forward. Not the most comfortable. I tried everyones favorite "peep" and don't care for it. Maybe a lazer would be better. I fun shoot, 20- 30 foot, but on a full charge I can get good range, so 75' is a possiblity. I don't hunt, but if I smell a stinking squirrel in the area, I wouldn't rule out a wake up call. Punched up your web, very nice. Thanks. Buddy

Buddy,
I dont understand why your having to mount your chin on top of the stock, is the scope mounted to high?

Instead of going with a laser, I have a red dot scope where you wont loose your reticle if the battery goes dead. Airgun target shooters like alot of magnification at short range. I have a 4-16x50AO that will be available in about 2-3 weeks that you can focus at 50ft or less on 16 power and the AO will dial down to 10 yds. Van over at AirHog will be displaying this scope for us at the upcoming Shot Show in Las Vegas and says "You cant buy a better air gun scope for the price". We will have a special on the scope for ony $145 + Shipping.
