357max with carved stock set

Heres the latest 357max with a carved set someone did in Montana, I wish I could carve, I would do it alot. I wish I lived in Montana.

And heres my grandson Charley, and his pillow, Ruca.

That sir is fantastic!   Beautiful.  I wish you could carve too, I'd be sending you my stocks!  If I may ask, was that so expensive I would have to sell a leg?

I do like the oak and acorn forearm and grip, its might help like checkering. The whole thing looks great!

I had to take 11 barrels and 6 scopes to get this, it was a all or nothing. It worked out to where this was 275.00

I love that rifle and would be afraid to take it in the woods.  I also love the kid and his pillow Ruca.  Here, it works the other way around.  My Charlie, a Feist, jumps on the bed and uses me for his pillow.  He dosen't know it yet, but we're hunting this morning.  First good day in weeks.  Yes, and the Maxi is going out for a stroll.  It's just a red squirrel clean-out and .38s work fine.  Congrats on a wonderful rifle in a superb caliber......enjoy.

That's a great looking rifle Tom and the pics of the grandson are perfect. ;D
I know I give you alot of flack but you're a pretty good guy. ;) ;D


Pete... I do alot of squirrel hunting with my 357 too. I shoot 'em with lead bullet 38's. The maxi is the most versatile rifle I own. ;)
