G2 45cal forend
« on: August 21, 2011, 12:15:15 PM »
The forend on my tc 45 cal muzzleloader split, and I'm trying to find one to replace it. I would prefer rynite, but would take wood if thats all I can find. Does anybody know where I might find something. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

I suspect that's going to be hard to find.  Two options pop to mind.  (1) Strip it, glue it, refinish it.  Modern glues work wonders.  (2) Send it to TC and see if they send you a replacement at no charge.

The composite version stock number is 7745 and the wood stock number is 7594, unfortunately it doesn't appear to be in their general online catalog.  Perhap you can call customer service and order one direct:
Phone: 1-866-730-1614
        Email: tcstore@tcarms.com
        Monday-Friday 8:00am - 6:30pm
        Saturday 9:00am - 12:00pm
Good luck to you.  ;)

I will try to fix it, but I would like to find another one. The buttstock is rynite so I would like to find a rynite forend.
Thanks for the numbers Tacklebury, Ill call them tomorrow and check.

T/C should replace it under warranty!
