308 dies what type

I'm going to reload for my new 308 encore barrel, do i need to purchase the small base dies or will the regular dies be fine,  I read somewhere a while back to use the small base dies for the weak extractor, but I believe he was loading for a new england with the ejector.

I have always just used regular dies for Contender and Encore bottlenecked cases.  I have been buying the Redding Deluxe set that includes the neck sizing die.

I load for .308 with regular RCBS dies.  No problems and easy to use.
