Ruger's Great Customer Service
« on: April 21, 2011, 05:47:08 PM »
I recently tried to do a modification to my Mini 14 and botched it up and had to return it to the factory. Well, I included a note stating what I did wrong and included my contact info for payment for the repairs. To my suprise, I received the rifle back in less than two weeks and at no charge. Now that is great customer service. I wrote them a thank you letter and figured it would be a great service to note it here also. Kudos to Ruger!  :)

I have a M 77 Hawkeye at their factory now. Its a 257 Roberts that hasn't ever shot well. This is the second trip back to the factory. I finally convinced them with photographic evidence about the locking lug engagement. Last I heard from them they were manufacturing a new barrel for this rifle. I am not in any hurry to get it back but I sure hope they do it right this time. Time will tell.

They have treated me more than fair on scope ring swaps.
The difference between people who do stuff and people who don't do stuff is that the people who do stuff do stuff.
