« on: April 21, 2011, 11:34:50 AM »
I was out yesterday and ran into the problem the slide will not stay open on the last round
The fired round will eject but the slide fails
I going to give it a shot tonight I disassembled the clip clean it well seem no problem when hand operated slide will stay open on a empty clip
I don't have another clip with me to swap out gun must have 5,000 rounds threw never a problem just good be me not slapping up into position

If cleaning the magazine does not help, either get another magazine and or a new slide stop.  Slide stops may cost a dollar or two, the mags a bit more but if you have 5k rounds down the tube without yet having to replace parts it might be time to consider doing so.  jmtcw.

I agree with Mikey.
The leg on the slide stop that contacts the magazine follower may be worn and the follower is skipping past it. Brownells has them for cheap.
