Transfer Bar
« on: May 06, 2011, 12:35:29 PM »
The striker pat of the transfer bar on my receiver came off. I looked in the FAQs and wasn't really sure I could find what I need. Is there a simple way to put it back on for someone who is mechanically challenged? Do I have to take the trigger assembly apart?

Some have peened it back together, but you'll have to remove it to do that, download Perklo's trigger hone info(link in the FAQs), might as well do a trigger job while you're in there if you want to do it yourself, or send it to H&R for repair, Brownell's has been out of stock for a while, Numrich did have a replacement in stock recently tho.
