I have extensively tested out about five different molds in my Handi Rifle Bull barrel 24 inch 223 9 twist and 223 contender 12 twist ten inch barrel. The best accuracy in either gun has been the NEI #224 -54-GC( 60 grains with Gc) . About as good is the Lyman #225646 55 grain GC. The RCBS 55 grain is almost as good. I also have A 22 10 inch Hornet and 10 inch K Hornet. The NEI is the most accurate in all the guns. The #225646 is just about as accurate . I would go with it since it is lower priced and the difference in accuracy is small. I prefer to use the NEI because it is a four holer and faster to cast and also drops the bullets better. It looks like a piece of junk. But it is well made, the dimensions are great, and is my favorite mold . Be careful with  NEI . The management is a little sloppy with their work  and get a little snippywhen you mention it. But they make good  if you have to send it back.  Lyman is great for making molds undersize. I also have a Lyman 45 grain mold (#438) it is also undersize. I have not had any problems with the undersized bullets. They seem to work fine at .224 on the money. Go figure. I find around 4.2 grains for the Hornet and 6.0 grains Unique for the 223 about right. 1700 fps for the 223 9 twist is about right . Drive it higher and expect to lose some accuracy. You are gong to have to test what works best in your gun. This has been my experience.
