On the outside looking in. kids and bullying
« on: May 06, 2011, 09:03:33 AM »
Just finished reading the news spot about Phoebe Prince, sad and a shame kids are that way, I did experence some that in highschool but not to extent she did.
I now live town and have kids, they get depressed when they get bullied and it shows if you take the time to notice.

My wife just got done writing a paper on "Bullying" in some class for her masters degree . Is the problem bullies? Or is it the neutering of Americas peoples that will not allow them to fight back? Seems to me that when I grew up if somebody was "pushing you around" you either put up with it, or fought and set things right. Bullying didn't appear to be much of a problem when some "tough guy" got more than he gave.

its the way things are now. when i was in school you just took care of business. if a kid does that now they get expled, charged with assalt then they blame the parents for their kid taking up for them selves. and on top of it all the school gets sued :( >:( >:( >:(

Probably more than 50% of children in the U.S. today:

1 live in single parent households,
2 get most of their early development influence from day-care centers,
3 are not given the benefit of close adherence to the principles of an organized religion,
4 are taught that everybody is entitled to everything,
5 have no familial male figurehead to influence their upbringing,
6 are indoctrinated through the school system that political correctness is more important than personal
     responsibility, and,
7  are led to believe that big government is the solution to all of their problems as victims.

Bullying isn't an unexpected problem for this system to solve, it is the inevitable result of such a social system.
