Shot my 45-70 bc

Shot my BC for the first time today.. It shot better than you guys said it would...I am so pleased and for 45-70 the recoil was alot less than I thought it would be :)

Received the lower sight for mine from Optics planet. Was a bizatch getting the old one out but got r dun. Haven't shot with the new sight as of yet but I sure do like the rifle even if it was hitting LLLLOOOOWWWWW! Critters are going to be in trouble now me thinks. Hope you are as happy with yours as I am mine.

After reading all the info this site... I put a Williams fp-tk rear sight and a Lyman 404 front sight on my BC...Blackhills ammo and shot 2 in. group at 100 yds. Very happy for my first time out.. I have a 308 handi shoots good too...

I've  had many days I couldn't shoot a 2 inch group with my BC and a 4 12 40 scope.  You must be one of those young fellas that can still see. ;D  Glad it hit the ground running for you, let us know if you work up handloads for it and how they perform.
