If a fellow were considering moving out West, which State offers the best hunting? Taking into consideration length of season, ease of acquiring tags and license, species of game, and overall quality of hunting experience. Montana or Idaho looks really good for a lot of reasons, but I thought taking a poll might turn up some more appealing possibilities from those with experience.

Lawdog, I realize that those states are out west as well and probably have some good hunting, but I don't really want to live in any those three, so that's why I just listed the ones I am considering. Thanks. :-)

Not sure about the other two of the missing three, but do all of the states listed in the poll have the CWD in their herds?

Arizona is a hard state to draw a tag to, but it has as fine a quality of game as any state in the west. Take a look in the B&C or Pope & Young entry's

Thomas,

Montana has no cases of CWD in the wild. So I vote MT, I live there for the time being too.
