gilmore scope?
« on: December 29, 2003, 02:28:43 PM »
I just bought a gilmore 1x pistol scope W/ fine plex and small dot. It has an octagon tube with rings to match. Silver.  Anyone know anything about this company? It's new in bow with sort of target turrets. I posted on optics a couple of weeks ago. No responses.

Gilmore, you say?  Odd, seems to me there's a fellow by the name of Gilmore that runs an indoor range around my parts.  Seems he's a might famous competition shooter, too.  Don't know if you've ever been down toward Tulsa, Oklahoma, but if you ever wind up down here, you might check out Tulsa Firearms.  May be that the Gilmore that scope is named after is the same Gilmore that runs Tulsa Firearms.

I have a Leupold/Gilmore scope similar to what you are talking about, but no cross hairs (dot). Gilmore Sports Concepts has a web site where I ordered mine from. It's out of Tulsa I believe so it's probabaly the gentleman securitysix was referring to.
