Has anyone ever done it? I have succesfully modified the stevens trigger to work on an accutrigger model savage, but I cant quite get the accutrigger to work properly on the stevens. More specifically, i cant get the safety to function properly. The trigger works awesome. I can adjust the set screw that rides on the safety bar, but it seems like it needs something putting pressure up from the bottom on it. When I slide the safety back into its position, everything looks fine. But when I pull the trigger with the safety on, the assembly pivots back out of the way, releasing the sear.
edit.....to be a little more clear, due to machining diffences in the actions; the safety assembly must match the action. the trigger groups can be changed by pulling a single pin out and switching them around (with the exception of one tiny little hole).
