Definitely. You can't get any stronger of a candidate in my opinion. As gun owners here you will not find a more 2nd Amendment friendly candidate also.

Wishful thinking, he is not going to get the nod in the primaries and I'm glad that Huckabee isn't running either.

I prefer to call it ...........hopeful thinking.! + 1 on Huckabee not running.I wish we didn't have to hear about the new world order candidate running. (Newt G.).

Paul can expect this old Republican vote in the primaries! We couldn't elect a more Constitutional minded candidate.

A candidate needs more then a portion of his/her own Party's vote. Without a substantial % of the Independents nobody is going to the WH. I'm not convinced that Dr. Paul will be able to tap into those votes with sufficient numbers to overcome Obama

I don't know if he can either, but, according to a CNN poll he has a better chance of defeating Obama than all the other candidates. You must also not forget that many independents are libertarians.

Considering CNN's political slant I suspect there is an agenda with that poll. That is an old trick to vote and endorse the weakest candidate in the primaries of your Opposition.
 
I think the Dems would love to have Dr. Paul as the candidate to beat.
Let's see who else might step forward now that Mr.Trump did an exit Stage right.
