Bullberry Barrel Works, Match Grade Machine, Georgia Jim's, High Plains Gunnstocks, Denzel Roberts, Otter Custom is a start.
Evolution at work. Over two million years ago the genus Homo had small cranial capacity and thick skin to protect them from their environment. One species has evolved into obese cranial fatheads with thin skin in comparison that whines about anything and everything as their shield against their environment. Meus

Try Justin Sip, he does beautiful work, he also puts an aluminum bedding blocks in the grip so recoil won't create any cracks, he'll also inlet the fore-end for any contour and for hanger bars as well if desired. Match grade machine does metal work, barrels etc, not wood. Otter ( John Cook ) is no longer doing stock work and I thought Denzel Roberts was out of it also, although I might be wrong about that.

As dant suggested, some may be out of the game... been a while since I've dealt with any of them.   At one time anyway MGM was getting custom furniture from their Dad, Steve Stratton I believe (or from Justin).

I wasn't aware that Justin had started his own stock business though.   After leaving VVCG he was working construction, a feast or famine thing in Utah's Dixie.    Glad to hear he's back in the stock game though, he's an excellent stockman and a great person to do business with.

An example of his work that he did for me in the early-mid 90's when he did all the stock work at Bullberry.   I lived in the area then and stopped in a couple of times so Justin could fit the grip to my hand exactly.   Wood came from Fred's private stash.

Thats a nice piece Ladobe! Im looking for something more on the lines of a Blk and Red Benchrest forend and grip from Tonys. Im thinking of making my Encore a paper puncher and using my Tender to put meat on the table. Then again she will get her time in the woods  too.

Contact him by PM on GBO.  Dave knows that he is not to sell or buy on discussion forums and will not reply here.  Discussion forums do not allow classified discussions (buy/sell) and Dave follows the rules.  He also does great work.
