Hi Guys,
Just got my contender carbine barrel w/ attached Weaver 92A base. I see a gap between the forward end of the base and the barrel (maybe 2 or 3 1/1000 th's). Is this from the taper in the barrel or a flaw in the mount or the bedding of it? It seems to be solid. I didn't want to start tearing things apart already, maybe I'll just see if it will bore sight? :?
