It looked to me like the incident was set up but I doubt if anyone thought the kid would get hit.  Notice the red car, apparently not worth a stone, maybe a spotter to tell the kids the settlement official was coming.  With the first stone hit the driver probably looked back and inadvertently swerved toward the kids.  As the kid rolled off the hood to the left he swerved right to avoid running over him, and then came to a full stop, probably saying "Oh no, what have I done?".  Realizing he might get torn limb from limb he then beat feet out of there.  Seems perfectly plausible, but people will always see what they want to see.  It's also plausible that some local car dealer would run it as an ad, if he was a big settlement booster, and very plausible that Subaru would distance themselves from it.  So a little street fighter got a hard lesson in reality and a settlement bigwig got the scare of his life.  What I find to be the worst aspect of the matter is that it is pitting us against each other so bitterly.

  Note the Palestinians proudly displaying a Nazi flag.. and that ambulance..he must have been just out of the frame with his engine revving..to get to the scene so quickly, plus he must have known beforehand that the guy was going to be "wounded".  Have you ever been in combat or at the scene of multiple injuries ?  Do you recall when a person shows up with an apparent thigh, ankle or forehead injury..he is practically smothered with 15-20 willing "rescuers"..who drag & carry him off like a sack of potatoes ?
