I love stories like this. Seems they could have sued for all the mental anguish the bank  caused. POWDERMAN.  ;D ;D

For once it's the bank that gets the short end of the stick.  Good for the homeowners and I agree they should have gotten a little extra for all the grief they had to endure.

p.s.; A bank vault would make a nifty gun room.

I dont understand how they were able to begin foreclosure proceedings on a privately owned and paid for house in the first place?

ive read of and heard first hand from the actual owners of instances where BOA foreclosed on homeowners who were not one minute late on any payments.its crazy, they are so brain dead nothing can stop them once they get started. in some of the instances, the homeowner just finally gave up after a couple years of struggleing with them.

Couldn't have happened to a better bank!   ::)  To bad they got off so light.

Something must be missing. Did they actually seize the assets and return them after the check had cleared? For example, would the bank have stopped such a proceeding if a homeowner whipped out his checkbook and wrote a check? I doubt it.
