Hy-Score scopes

Who has heard of Hy-Score scopes??
I bought an old Rem 700 that has a 3-9x40 Hy-Score scope on it.  Glass appears good.  Made in Japan.  Model 476
I'm guessing it is from the '70's
 
I googled it and all I could find was German air rifle stuff.
