A few months ago I purchased 2 H&Rs with CAC receivers, a .357 Mag with 18½” bbl. & open sights also a .22LR Sportster with open sights, both have their troubles. The .357 needs the rear sight moved to the left till 1/3 of it hangs in the open to hit point of aim with either .38 or .357 factory loads. The .22 will not eject spent shells. Tried different brands LRs, Shorts & CBs. Empties can be easily plucked out with fingers. Pointing the barrel up they will just about fall out on their own. Tried polishing, cleaning, dry chamber, lightly oiled chamber to no avail. Was disappointed & set both guns aside. Decided today to call factory. A girl, who gave her name as Sarah, answered the phone. I told her about the .357 first, she said to send it in & they would look at it. Then I told her about the .22, she put me on hold then came back & told me their rifles had extractors, not ejectors & the gun was supposed to be that way. I own 12 handies & 8 acc. bbls. This gun has an ejector, as I believe all Sportsters do. To make a short story longer I said forget the Sportster & asked if she could send me a shipping label, she said she would. My question is can I send in both rifles with this shipping label enclosing a letter for each rifle explaining the problems. Thanks - Bill
