QR bases

I've got a ML-II on the way and will want to put my Bushnell 4200 on it. Can someone tell me what Leupold quick release bases I need so I can use the QR rings I already have. I don't see any QR bases in Cabelas shooting catalog for a Savage anything. What model Savage is the ML-II based on? Thanks.

The current production 10ML-II AccuTrigger model has a round receiver, fore and aft. I used a pair of Warne steel bases, part # M902, and standard height Warne Maxima steel quick release rings. Both the non-AT (flat rear receiver) and the current AT models are based on the Savage Model 10 short action.

I don't have any Leupold rings, but believe there are the proprietary Leupold fitting Leupold bases, and the Leupold "QRW" style-- quick release Weaver. The QRW style fits std. Weaver (and the Warne Maxima) bases.

I really like those Elite 4200 scopes!

Randy,
Thanks for the reply but I've already got the Leupold QR rings that I used on my Remington 700 ML and I'm trying to just find the QR base. I went to the Leupold website and they show both a one piece and a two piece QR base for a Savage 110 SA. Will a one piece base get in the way of anything? Yeah, I like the scope too. Can't wait to get it mounted on the new ML-II. Should be here in a couple of days.

Are you getting a round receiver Accutrigger model or the 10ML-II with the flat rear base (different height)? Whatever Leupold says-- I doubt the 1-piece will work, but-- I guess Leupold should be able to tell you. I would hope so, anyway.

Randy,
It is the Accutrigger so I guess it's the round reciever. Does the Savage 110 SA have a round receiver? The reason I was asking about the one piece base is that it comes in matte finish (which is what I want) and the two piece only comes in gloss. I haven't contacted Leupold yet- just looked at their info about bases. I will try to email them but I don't expect a timely reply. Hoping some others out their used Leupold QR on their 10ML-II. Thanks again.

I JUST got a Savage.  I used the Warne Maxima base 5S902SS(you would need two).  That's a silver-finish all steel base.  Also used the Warne Maxima QD rings while mounting a Zeiss Conquest 3-9 scope.  I have used the Maxima rings/bases extensively and they work as advertised.
