Hello. I just purchased this rifle in almost new condition and was wondering two things.  What parts should I store away now if I can find them and any way of finding out when this firearm was manufactured.  Thanks for your help!! :)

I own the same rifle in 222 and it is areal shooter.  Mine is not pristine and I have the same question as you.  I bought mine as trading stock but it shoots to well to get rid of.  ;D

I saw a post somewhere about a few parts to purchase now and set aside, but cannot find it now!! :-\ I would like to use the stamped steel mount and rings that came with mine, but it really limits (actually makes for NONE) eye relief adjustment.  What mount are you using on yours?

I am using a B-square mount that I purchased from Midway.  The mount centers the scope over the bore, I am quite happy with it.  The rings that came with the mount are so-so but the mount is great.
