I hate these endless Muslim vs. Christian "arguments".  The same 5 people say the same thing over and over and over and over and over...  There's no one for either side to convince, but they both feel like it's their "duty" to keep the dogma going...  If I didn't have to, I wouldn't read any of those threads...

I dont need to change on this subject. In fact I am quite inflexible on it-bullying and picking on a weaker subject ie: man beating a woman or even pstchological abuse will always be the work of a coward in my eyes. I dont give a crap what the cultural norms are for a society a man beating a woman is a still cowardly and dishonorable act. You can tell me thats how its done in their culture and that I should just accept them until you are blue in the face and that will not make the act any more acceptable.
You imply that I am some sort of bigot or monster because I refuse to accept the way muslim women are treated. I wonder how many voices like yours were heard in the years leading up to the American Civil War "(we have slavery in some states get over it")or during the civil rights movement of the 1960's telling people ("this is the way our society is, some people are just more equal than others just accept it and get over it")

LAKOTA. Another good post Sir. It doesn't take a big man to beat a woman, just a very small one. Over the years my wife and I have taken in several abused women and their kids. Took them to court for paperwork and provided food clothing shelter and protection. YES, we'd do it again if needed. About 3 years ago a friend of mine was in the Kroger store and saw a muslim woman slip on a wet floor and fall. He helped her up, her husband knocked her to the floor for allowing an infidel to touch her. Rick beat the crap out of him and told him that he and his culture was not welcome in America. If you dont like someones right to free speech you are free not to listen. Dont like the right to keep and bear arms? I guess you are free not to keep and bear arms then. If you dont like freedom to practice religion then dont go to church.

I refuse to recognize any behavior that infringes on someone else's rights as a right its self. The "right" to beat someone does that.
