So, I finally got my 100mm softball mortar put together and fired. I've fired it on two different occasions, and have fired it about 20 times now. I use 80 grains of black powder to launch a 12 inch softball. It goes about 200 yard up and 150 yards out. I must say that it is much more fun than should be allowed. The video was taken on Memorial Day to celebrate the life of my brother who passed 2 years ago. Here's the video:
