Ignorant?  And you guys blame the economic meltdown on the fellow who assumed office after the meltdown started?  And the fellow who could have vetoed any spending bill gets no blame at all?

  Junior;
  It's about time you and the other  Obama sippers got the message.  Most presidents over the last several decades have inherited a recession....just a fact of life.  Carter left one for Reagan, Reagan for Bush I, Bush for Clinton and Clinton left one for Bush II....but none of them whined about the last guy...until now.
  Recessions as such rarely last over 1.5 years; after that the new president's programs have kicked in...so it is all his baby.
   If you recall, B Hussein immediately put us in debt for a trillion dollars and said the recession would ebb and unemployment would be well below 8% within the year...  how's that working for us ?
  He really should "man up" and admit he knows little about economics and business, and turn to somebody such as Bush, Romney, Palin, or Herman Cain.....Someone who has worked for a living and owned and/or run business...
   Bringing this country back from a recession is no place for ivy league dreamers or Marxist experiments..

   Here's the pattern for recessions in recent decades, just scroll down to the last chart.  The last recession ended in 2009;  what we have now is the result of gross incompetence by an inept administration which many of our fellow citizens voted for and gifted us with;

This is by golly unbelievable!  I agree with a statement from ironglow!  Sadly, we had to put up with that inept administration for eight years.

I fixed it for you.

Imagine..some who made the mistake of of voting in[ GW and Obama] and financially ruining our country.

I fixed it for the two of you ;D

PS! I was guilty of making the first mistake, but I learned from that mistake. Prob. will never vote for another R or D..............Unless the country comes to it's senses and elects R. Paul to lead the Republicans against the...................(What ever it is that now lives in, what has become the house of ill repute.
ooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo
  While I can understand your disgust with both the Rs and Ds..  you have a strange way of suggesting a solution.  It sounds almost as if out of 320,000,000 Americans, only Ron Paul could help us !  Surely you must know there are other possibilities also...

I don't know why the argument over Bush vs Obama and who caused it and who can't help it.  Obviously been going on a long time, Obama is just the president now, and he has no clue whatsoever on what he's doing, ain't his fault...he was voted in that way.  Would McLame make ya feel better?  Bet he would have signed what Polosi put on his desk.  Know why? Cause he would have money for war in those packages, just like Bush had money for war in those spending bills the DEMS put on his desk.  Got nothing to do with Dem and Rep anymore, Obama has widened the war even more, someone tell me the difference between Obama and Bush, except that Obama spends it/wastes it faster.  Only thing that can slow Obama down now is congress, and I don't think I'm going to hold my breath, they just passed spending for next year at 1.7 trillion over and above what they take in.  Obama, of course..signed it.  There is someone in congress who would not have signed it I bet, I bet his name is Ron Paul...a boring guy without the super star image.

Bush, Klinton, Bush, BHO.....they all should be hung......they are serial criminals, each building on the work of the previous....each demising this country for the benefit of a selected few. As NW_Hunter said >>no R's or D's.

..TM7
/

Hit the nail on the head right there.  If people are still arguing over dems or reps....they been sleeping through it all.

Maybe it started with the Fed reserve act and when the president and congress confiscated the peoples gold.
Stealing the people's wealth is nothing new, it just takes a long time to totally to kill off Americans.  Were tough to the bone.

I'm sorry to tell you "neither R or D" guys, but Ron Paul will not win.  And even if he by some miracle did win, he wouldn't be able to do much, if anything.  He has a track record of being ignored or countered by virtually every other politician.

True.  I don't think it matters who is president at all until congress gets fixed first, basically, nobody wins until then.

Right on! I'm afraid,and it's because you R's and D's bunch cannot see past your preferred criminal as a choice.You are so use to being manipulated by them, you cannot think on your own." And that's sad". I know Paul is not a miracle  worker, and it's true we need many more like him in the House and Senate to really make a difference, but it ain't gonna happen as long as we keep re-electing the same old hand picked D's and R's to lead.

Because of that mentality we are doomed to go third world.

I was going to throw in my 2 cents worth but with inflation, I'll up it to a quarter.
I noticed the start of the decline in America right after Pres. Eisenhauer left office, though I did like Harry Truman too.  The moral character of congress and the nation slipped. Our work ethic declined, greed stepped in and the devaluation and currency manipulation set us on the road downhill. Civillity declined.
Both parties are culpable. We tolerated and encouraged welfare, drug use, and special interest groups and will pay the price for it.
Soros wants us to fight amongst ourselves so he can continue the manipulation unnoticed.  Looks like he is suceeding. We are for all practical purposes, leaderless.
Historically, what happens next is a severe depression, which is a very dangerous time for our country. Socialism leads to dictatorship.
Ron Paul comes closest to the solution, but his plan, which will be fought by big money and special interest groups, needs to be implimented gradually.
We need to stop electing the weiners of the world and get back to basics.

  Hermit;
     That decay started not with just the federal govt !  If you recall, it was just about the beginning of the very early 1960s, when things really accelerated in going the garbage route !  Of course it is coincidental that DDE served as pres from Nov 1953- Jan 1961, I'm sure that is why you relate it to that time.  The Beatles were harbingers of the decay (rather a symptom, than a cause), simply because a very perverse generation came along then.  Not all were involved of course, but This generation gave rise to the S.D.S. and the "Weathermen' and other such disruptive and even terrorist groups.  A portion were drug infested and sex crazed, using "the pill" and living by the slogan, "if it feels good, do it "!    Once serious drug addictions, fried brains, herpes, AIDS (formerly GRIDS) and other STDs developed (due to the promiscuity) and became common..it no longer "felt so good".
     IMO; it started wih the preceding generation; having suffered through the depression and WW2, they wanted to make things 'better' for their children.  An admirable idea, but faulty in execution, since they confused "better" with "easier'..perhaps too easy.
   With the post war booming economy and the US flexing it's mighty economic muscle, many forgot where the blessings on this nation originated..with Almighty God !  The doting WW2 parents did not properly discipline their offspring and produced a generation of self-centered egoists, who ignored the God of their fathers and delighted in what the devil had to offer...degrading sin !
  Now that generation runs this world...what SHOULD we expect ?

  NOTE:  Not all in that generation fell for the devil's lies , and some who did, have since redeemed themselves.  They are the ones we must sort out and elect...if it is not too late...
If you don't want the truth, don't ask me.  If you want something sugar coated...go eat a donut !  (anon)

You forgot about Elvis singing black music.  If black, "devil" music had stayed in the cotton fields along with the people who sang it, all would now be hunky dory, huh?

Just pointing out that what ironglow called the "garbage route" started with Elvis.  It always started with someone's previous generation.  Ten generations from now, the 11th generation will be the one going to hades in a handbasket.

  Junior..now we know why you are called Junior....obviously because you simply need some practice at reading comprehension.  Read again, my post !  Even the mention of the Beatles, I said they were harbingers of rhe decay..rather a symptom, than a cause !
  Do you 'get it' now ?

  I said nothing about Elvis, black, devil music or cotton fields... those must be figments of your own hyper-imagination...

When racism is your only counter arguement you have to be adept at twisting the facts to suit the race card.

Ooopppps...I forgot the second counter argument-"Bush's fault."
