Not to insult the purist on here, but I would like to see a defensive lever action built. Pistol cal., loading gate on the left side( to keep it topped off easier), Heavier walled mag tube, tuned action, ghost ring sights. I don't want a tacti-cool rifle, just a good lever action built as a home/personal defense weapon that is updated to this century. One more thing PLEASE DON"T PUT ANY DANG SAFETY ON IT!!!!!!! Just my wish to the gun gods.

What about a loading gate on the bottom like a pump shotgun.  If you are a south paw or righty it would work either way.
Years ago I had an idea of what i thought was the perfect CCW and house gun.  I wrote up what I thought and sent it to S&W.  I told them they can have any and all of my ideas all I want is to beable to go to the local shop and buy one.  About 6 months later S&W came out with a gun similar but not exactly what I asked for.  You never know.  Send a letter to Henry, Marlin, or Rossi and see what comes out.  Start with one of their models build up from there. If you ask for payment of some kind, the legal department will kill the project.
If a bunch of people all write in with a similar request, some one will pick and choose and build something to meet the demand.

watch one of those cowboy action shooters work a lever gun and youll see that theres not much needed to make them work. About all a guy needs is practice.
