My 625-8 is suffering from light firing pin strikes. At first I thought that it was bad primers on some old 45AR ammo I had lying around so I threw that stuff out after soaking w/ WD40.
Today I took it out with some year old Russian, and RP, and Win 45ACP ammo. After comparing the firing pin strikes on all the ammo I tried to shoot I see a marked difference between those that fired and those that did not.
I shot both with and with out full moon clips, with mixed ammo, all the same type of ammo. In other words I did all the possible test configurations. No consistent difference in firing.
That leaves me with a firing pin problem.
Any one know how to work that issue on the 625?
Thanks
