NMLRA / Friendship, Indiana
« on: June 16, 2011, 04:59:28 PM »
I've been spending a LOT of time this week at the National Muzzleloading Rifle Association shoot in Friendship, Indiana this week.  Even if you never fire a shot, there is still a lot to do and see there.
It's a very friendly and family oriented group.  Today I shot a woodswalk course with a man and his two grandsons. (Don't ask scores, Not polite!)  It was about as much fun that I have had shooting in a long time.

I've visited the Spring Rendezvous (that's what they call a get-together) the past two Junes... and you'll never meet nicer folks than those who attend and participate in the activities at Friendship.  It's refreshing to find a group of people who are still so friendly, helpful and honest-to-a-fault.  This kind of morality apparently tends to run deep among these black powder, muzzle-loader shooters.   :D
