Bikerbeans,
I loved mine to death and got 6 years out of it from early October to the end of January. It was still in good shape, but the door zipper broke out. I hunt with a crossbow out of mine, (and muzzleloaders) but you have to be careful about how you lean it, or the broadhead can punch a hole in it. Mine had 2 of those, but they never tore any further. I keep a bag chair in mine, and put a Lil Buddy heater in later in the season. I got the hose kit and hook it up to a 20# cylinder and it lasts most of the rest of the season. Don't leave it out in the sun, I've seen some of them turn an orange brown that can be seen a long ways off. If you live anywhere near Shelby, the Sportsman's Den should have them on sale. They have a few listed on e-Bay for $49.95 plush shipping. I'd like to find out about the Brick house (mostly about the windows) 'cause I got a couple of grandsons gonna be starting out soon. The doghouse was big enough for me and a 5 year old grandson easy. Plenty of room for one, cozy and out of the wind, too. They'll spoil you. I can only recommend Ameristep. I bought a knock off from Sportsmans Guide and it only lasted one and a half years. Make sure you take it down (and dry it out) when you quit hunting and it'll last a long time. Good hunting to you...only 3 1/2 months away!
