Plum Crazy??
« on: June 23, 2011, 10:38:26 AM »
Anybody here ever use a Plum Crazy lower? I know I haven't but the price seems intriguing.  I have thought about buying one and slapping a  $360 Chiappa .22 barrel on for a fun plinking gun.  Any thoughts?

No problem tcencore3006.
I have one on a lightweight rig. Probably only a couple hundred rounds through it since it is just a coyote/groundhog rifle. Not a real test of durability. But it's been in the field for about three years as a walkabout. For awhile I was real careful breaking it down, thinking it would break like an ar-180. But it has done fine.

Hesse/Vulcan gave carbon lowers a bad name. I can't even begin to remember the 5 or 6 names they swapped about to dupe the consumers into buying their product after they would ruin their company's name.
