Anschutz lover

I'm partial to my Anschutz 1813 for target shooting.  But, I'm also fond of my ruger 10/22 Target.  I put a Volquartsen trigger assy in this past weekend which I think I prefer over the double action trigger I had.  For "fun" shooting it's hard to beat the 10/22.
I use a Winchester 70, 300 win mag for loooong shooting as well as a customized Sako, chambering 220 swifts.  (It was a gift so I didn't complain re the 220 swift chambering)
I usually shoot Lapua in my .22's and they do fine for my tastes.  My other "fun" (read cowboy) rifle is a Henry Big Boy .357 mag. lever action.

Nice collection of firearms. Is there a particular point to be made or question that you wanted to ask or just taking a moment to "display" some of what you have and do?
I have an Anschutz also - the only .22 rifle that I ever take to the range any more. Accuracy is fun. The other guns stay home.

Sort of introducing myself and what I like to shoot. The Anschutz 1813 is a lot better rifle than I am a shooter.
 
Re Kerouac, Yeah, I used to sit in the downstairs reading area at City Lights Bookstore in North Beach, hoping one of the bearded old winos was secretly Jack or someone.  No luck ...just bums getting in out of the cold.  When I visit San Fran, I still like to swing by City Lights for old times sake.  52 years later and I still practice the dharma I started back then.
