Pump rifles in Pistol Calibers
« on: April 13, 2004, 04:01:14 AM »
I would be interested in some inexpensive shooters made in pump configuration with pistol caliber chambers. Seem to remember the timberwolf 357 pump. that would be a great carry gun and mid range varmint and 100 yd deer gun. A similar rifle in 44 mag would also be a great and fun gun. anyone know if and by who these guns were made? Any companies still making them? Just a little stroll down the wish list!

NO. However, I suggested to the Pres. of Henry Repeating that he do up a pump in .357 for his next foray into centerfire rifles. :D

See American Western Arms (www.awaguns.com).  They sell an Italian-made Lightning clone.  Not in .44 Mag or .357 Mag, but several other "traditional" calibers, including .38 Spl, .44-40 and .44 LC.  Have "standard", color case hardeneded and stainless (I think) versions; rifle and carbine lengths.  Also saw a couple of these currently for sale on GunsAmerica. Seem to be popular in Cowboy/SASS circles.
