Fired a pair of these today, the two that are staying with us, got it on some iphone video.  Kinda shaky but you can see what was going on.  Loaded to youtube,

Both videos are live fire with standard black cat firecrackers (grey fuse) and 9 grains of 3F gives a quick second "air burst" report.  The green fuse "little Dynamite" firecrackers made by black cat fly further, and land before exploding.

     Try adding a few grains powder with the little Dynamite crackers

Ok, I can do that, I was thinking shorten the fuse further, or make the split in the tip larger.  Either way, still an absolute blast.

     I haven't fired many of the Little Dynamite, but you shouldn't have to shorten or change anything.  Our instructions recommend ffg, which could solve this.  These should be going out 40-50 feet and detonating at the peak of their flight.   I'm glad you are enjoying...no doubt you will be an expert before the Fourth!
