I think you need a bigger, more powerful gun to go any further than 500yds.   ;D :o

Good Job. I was shooting 12" balloons at 300 yards last month with my M1 at an Appleseed. It was all I could do to see them with open sights.

Glad you had so much fun out there!  Longer ranges get addictive for sure!
 
Your picture is missing something though, you forgot to flash your gold teeth  ;D .
