Gillmor King's Howitzer

Funny that there was a recent thread on Gillmor Ordnance. 
 
I recieved my King's Howitzer tube from Gillmor today.  Took about 8 weeks for delivery.  I'm pleased overall, but was hoping more would be polished on his lathe.  The details around the breech, cascabel and muzzle still need quite a bit of work.  Maybe I can find a machinest locally to help with it, if not I'll do it by hand.  I chose to have it bored to the original size of 2.91 inches (3 pounder).  He says some folks have them bored to coke can diameter.  The chamber is about 1.4 inches in diameter.  17 inches long overall and wieghs about 50 lbs.

Great tube! How much did it cost? What is the recommended charge? Will you shoot round balls or blanks? How will go go about building a carriage?

Gillmor's tube for 1swampthing had a very good NDT report so this guy is probably just as good.  Again I would feel safe shooting next to it... even w/o the liner.  :)

The King's Howitzer sell for $850.  No original carriages have survived, so I'll be basing mine on the speculative data presented in a series of articles from the Company of Military Historian's journal.
 
The original service charge was 4oz, that is what I'll be shooting for blanks.  Something less than that for live rounds. 
 
Anyone know of a source for 2 inch capsquares?
