The new 6 inch 586 S&W has the serial #ABE2717.
What is the skinny on the dates?
BTW---this one is an extraordinary find---condition wise. I should get some pics up today.

Here are some very unspectacular pics---but they tell the story.
Still not sure about the 6" barrel, but will give it a chance. I need to get used to the paridge (sp) front sight---may need some paint.
