I have a spare Millet red dot sight laying around the house. It's the adjustable dot size model. I have one on a 44mag revolver and it's held up well to a steady diet of 300 grain loads. I am thinking about mounting the other on a 45-70 contender carbine with a 16 inch barrel.
I am looking for opinions on whether the little Millet would hold up to the 45-70 recoil?
