How to measure barrel length on a 629

Hi guys :)   Measuring from the crown to???  Does it matter if it is a 629-1 - 629-6?

Revolvers are properly measured from the muzzle to the cylinder face (Very front of the cylinder)  Some measure from the beginning of the forcing cone, but that is not how the manufacturers do it.  It would not matter what series the 629 is.  I am pretty sure if a detachable muzzle break is installed, it is measured with the brake removed.  If it is permanently installed, it counts as barrel length, hence the 14.5 inch barreled AR-15's you see that are legal without a BATF permit because the muzzle brakes are 1 1/2 inch or longer, equalling the 16 inch legal minimum.
