Tip Curtis ?
« on: January 11, 2004, 12:40:33 PM »
Hello, was just at a local gun show and someone had a 58cal smoothbore full stock flintlock for sale. The guy told me this was Tips own gun that he used I do not know if this is true or not. The gun was made in 1998 he was asking 1000.00 for it . Can anyone tell me who Tip Curtis is I have not heard of him does he build good guns and is this way to much for a used gun. And could anyone tell me how I might contact Mr. Curtis  Thanks bowfish.

Bowfish,.... T.P. "Tippy" Curtis is/was on the "board of directors" for the NMLRA, I believe his phone no. is:..... 615-654-4944

You could call him for any information 'bout the rifle!! (I'd think thet $1000.00 is a "fair" price) :D
"Modern inline" is an old mountain-man phrase,... fer "butt-ugly club"!!

Hi
My friend tells me he has a store in Nashville specialising in MLer building supplies.
Can't tell you where though.  Long way from here.
Cheers

Jeff

Tip Curtis Frontier Shop
4445 Jernigan Rd
cross Plains, TN. 37049
615-654-4445 Business

$1,000 is a good price if gun was his and it's in great shape.  I bought parts(Jaeger) from him the last time I was in Friendship, Indiana, cost me over $600 just for the parts.
