This is a fairly easy task to do. On the plus side is that the cartridge has a small diameter, so a stubbing project has a lot of chamber wall thickness to work with and the barrels are easy to come by. On the minus side is that a rimfire barrel will probably not work because of the slow twist rate, so a simple rechamber of a 22 LR is out. The small diameter of the cartridge makes finding an ejector that will or work difficult, I think a 22 Hornet ejector would work with a little modification, the diameters are close and the non rimmed cartridge may work if the hornet ejector is properly worked on. These are high pressure rounds, also they have a small case volume, so they are a little fickel when re-loading for them. Good luck, it would be a fun gun to shoot, kind of like a 22 Mag on Steriods. I have a necked to .17 version sitting here, called a .17 Velociraptor. not spelled right I am sure. Larry
