Look at the FAQs sticky and there is detailed information on how to disassemble the receiver and replace a T-Bar (lifter striker), as well as trigger jobs, spring replacement etc. It is not a real tough job but spend the time studying the information and receiver and buy the right punches and tools. Sometimes the T-bar failure is because the pin that holds the two halves together is loose and the striker is either misaligned or falls off. Some folks have reassembled the T-bar with the original pin and returned their gun to service. At the cost of a new T-bar I would just replace it and keep the old one for parts.
