« on: July 20, 2011, 02:58:01 AM »
I am working on loads for my M&P 40 and M&P 40 compact. I am leaning on the 180 bullets and thats the only thing other then CCI mag primers (i have them on hand). lets hear your pet loads for the 40 cal.

I like Berry's 165 grain HBFP-TP (hollow base flat point-thick plating) seated to 1.130" over enough HP-38 to reach 900 fps.
I save my 180's for the 10mm.

I loaded up some 175Gr, LSWC. With 4.8 Gr, of W-231, shooting them over my chrony I was getting 940 FPS out of a 4 inch barrel. I would back off the load a little with using Mag primers.
