I have a 14 month old male german shorthair pointer for sale, solid liver with a white spot on his chest.This is a pup from my last litter, owner promised to hunt and train the pup but never did, so i bought it back last week.I't has a real good nose and scent trailed to different grouse for 60 plus yards befor flushing it up, and the other one was about 40 yards.It is showing a real strong hunting desire and loves birds.I have planted some quail for it and it has found all of them it will point them but wants to go in and flush them up, which can be corrected.I have been working with it for a week in the yard on simple comands, here and whoa.It is a real friendly and good natured dog.Both parents of this pup are #1 grouse dogs and are hunted hard.The dam is my personal gundog and the sire is my hunting buddys.His male was never regestered the owner moved without sending the papers and we could never track him down, so the pup is not regestered, the dam is regestered with AKC and the field dog stud book.This will make a good gun dog if some one will take a little time to work with it, it has already picked up alot in just a week.I have pict. if interested. :-)
